Our two entrances have locks and our director or their designee is always on site. Visitors are required to show identification and sign in/ out. Parents of enrolled children sign them in and out.

Communicable diseases such as acute diarrhea, episodes of acute vomiting, and a fever of 101 degrees Fahrenheit are a few reasons a child/ staff member can be kept home or sent home from school. Children can return to school 24 hours after symptoms have subsided.
A staff member is always with your child while waiting for transportation to/ from public school. They escort each child inside to their class ensuring their safety the entire time. If your child does not return from public school we will call the parent immediately.

We provide breakfast & afternoon snack every day and provide lunch every Thursday. Our menus are created using USDA guidelines to ensure quality. Parents can either purchase lunch through our catering service or provide their own nut free lunch from home.
Our childcare believes in a positive discipline process by teaching children how to behave appropriately. Positive discipline respects the rights of each child and adult. It takes time, patience, repetition, and a nurturing demeanor. Ex: Re-directing them to a new activity to change the focus of a child's behavior ; Provide individualized attention to help the child deal with a particular situation; Reinforce/ acknowledge positive behavior.
Ratios depend on your child's age. Infant classroom is 1:4, toddler classroom is 1:6, preschool classroom is 1:10, pre-k & kindergarten is 1:12, and aftercare is 1:12.
Each classroom has their lead teacher and an afternoon teacher. Our staff consists of teachers, administrators, and substitutes that are passionate about early childhood education. Our teachers receive background checks before starting employment and all teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified. Many of our teachers have their college degrees, and we support their continued learning with grants and scholarships. This allows them to continue to provide your child with the best education possible. We also provide online training courses all year round through NJ Workforce.
Bottles that are brought in are warmed with a bottle warmer. We require bottles to come already prepared. Ex: All bottles must have child's first and last name with the date bottle is brought in. Formula should already be mixed and ready to heat.

Parents and guardians have an open door policy and can visit the child's classroom whenever they'd like without giving notice to the administration.
Yes! We support breastfeeding mothers by providing a private, warm, and cozy room just for them to bond/ feed their infant during the day.
Toys that are mouthed are disinfected on a daily basis. All toys are cleaned throughout the month on an as used basis. Our ratio is ½ cup regular bleach per gallon of water. Soak for 5 minutes, rinse and air dry. Our tabletops are disinfected multiple times a day. Our bathrooms, floors, and carpets are disinfected/ vacuumed/ mopped everyday.
We do not have private transportation for everyday use, but we do rent school buses for field trips on an as need basis. Rentals are through local, licensed, registered, insured, and reputable bus companies.
Our instructional staff have their CDA, associate, bachelor, or master degree. Our administrative staff have their bachelor or master degree. All staff members are legal to work in the USA and have their background checked/ cleared before beginning employment. All staff members attend monthly training's on various topics that are specific to the primary age group they work with.
We do administer emergency medicine and doctor prescribed medicine that is needed three or more times per day. Details of written care plan are discussed with director upon registration.
We utilize the Classdojo application to keep parents informed throughout the day. We post notes, photos, videos, homework, reminders, school closings, and more on the app.
